Alison has been running the show for over seventeen years and in that time has seen every key Australian industry transform through technology and disruption. With extensive experience in design and advertising, Alison leads the creative team at The Concept ensuring that each project reaches its full potential. Since establishing The Concept, Alison has delivered targeted DM, above-the-line and trade advertising campaigns, bespoke print design and a multitude of digital solutions ranging from websites and animations to UX solutions. Collaboration and creativity are key to Alison’s approach and she welcomes input and discussion from her clients and their stakeholders.
Head of Operations/Co-Founder
As our Head of Operations, Nicole oversees every project and client interaction in a way that puts everyone at ease. Since establishing The Concept, Nicole has grown every client and supplier relationship into one based on trust and respect which is why her role also includes managing major production and distribution projects for blue chip clients together with overseeing the day to day traffic of the studio. Attention to detail, process and accountability are key to Nicole’s approach, ensuring she consistently delivers outstanding results for our valued clients.
Senior Graphic Designer
Jaan brings his unique design aesthetic to everything he does, whether it’s an elegant corporate brochure or an extensive retail campaign. With a broad design background that includes publishing and digital design, Jaan ensures every project is, well… perfect. Jaan’s skill lies in his ability to balance the ‘bigger picture’ with the inevitable attention to detail that every project requires.
He’s a rule breaker and a magic-maker and he brings his eclectic range of skills to what is a varied production and client servicing role. Sean is our first point of contact for clients and suppliers and if he can’t answer your query, he knows who can. Malcolm brings the true definition of classic “old skool” to the team. With an impressive array of technical skills there is no idea Malcolm can’t animate nor is there a compound path he can’t create. Mal’s digital expertise and enthusiasm for getting it right and being part of all creative discussions has made him a valued addition to the team.
